My name is Jonathan Mendez and I'm from New York City in the Empire State. Coming from someone who was diagnosed in 2015 with NF1 and had four surgeries since, I have a lot of patience and a strong never give up attitude. I went through months of physical and occupational therapy to get back to my healthy self. Throughout all the negative I still have the ambition to keep moving forward. I strive to obtain something in the art field because it's my passion. I would not let any opportunity go to waste, the saddest thing in life is wasted talent.
